Today the Loop is made up of concrete, glass, steel, and a raft of other materials moved around by humans over the centuries. But how did it all come to be? This walk will take visitors to different sites around the Loop to talk about these transformations, building materials, and how some iconic spaces (such as Grant Park) came to be. Led by urbanologist and author Max Grinnell.
