All That Is Solid is a site-specific intervention at Space p11 in the Chicago Pedway that explores material afterlives of building construction. Using expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam diverted from the landfill, the project reflects on our shifting cultural and economic definitions of waste and worth, resource and refuse. Throughout the exhibition the public is encouraged to freely reconfigure the space of the gallery during open hours and events.
