Cabbage Patch’ by Danish artists Gamborg/Magnussen is an official Danish contribution and special project at the 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial. The work was commissioned by the Danish Arts Foundation in partnership with Garfield Park Conservatory and the Chicago Park District. Designed to spark dialogue about the neighborhood’s collective memory, this living installation rethinks the historic landscape first designed in 1905 by Danish-American landscape architect Jens Jensen.
