Over the past fifty years, Michigan Avenue north of the Chicago River has grown up, up and away. There remain a number of challenges and opportunities for sustainable growth in and around the area that can be addressed by architects, policy makers, and concerned citizens. This walk will look at some of those changes and improvements, along with offering a few suggestions for additional improvements. Led by urbanologist and author Max Grinnell.
