The Chicago Architecture Biennial presents this free panel discussion featuring Mabel O. Wilson — scholar, curator, practitioner and professor of architecture and African-American and African Diasporic Studies at Columbia University, who was recently honored for her work as an educator and mentor with the 2019 Women in Architecture Award.
Joining her are two contributors to the 2019 Biennial:
Aviwe Mandyanda (BlackStudio), a scholar of urban planning and design based in Johannesburg, and architect, artist, and scholar Ola Hassanain, whose practice focuses on architecture, cultural identity, and globalization.
Sepake Angiama, curator of the 2019 Biennial, will moderate this talk.
