Stop by for an introduction to the themes of the 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial while having fun with FREE hands-on activities for the whole family.
Thinking about buildings and the memories they hold, Biennial partner Chicago Mobile Makers will have kid friendly crafts for drawing, tracing, and building all afternoon.
The Chicago Architecture Biennial (open now through January 5, 2020) is the largest exhibition of architecture, art, and design in North America. Youth and family programs are held at the Chicago Cultural Center and community offsites every week.
Before or after the event, explore the exhibition and learn more about Biennial projects and topics — from housing to natural resources and the environment — with the Young People's Guide, a free activity book available online and in the Learning Lab.
