Thompson’s 4,000-square-foot installation of 84 community-made quilts serve as a gathering place for audiences who attend Then a Cunning Voice and A Night We Spend Gazing at Stars —a 15-hour all-night performance gathering and feast created by choreographer Emily Johnson (Yup’ik).
