Remembrance Object Collection and Community Workshop

This two part event will include a Remembrance Object Collection followed by a Community Workshop, both related to The Gun Violence Memorial Project, which seeks to create a permanent, national memorial that honors the lives and narrative of victims of gun violence.

Remembrance Object Collection
11am–2pm
Learning Lab
If you have a family member who has been taken due to gun violence, we invite you to participate in the Biennial exhibition by contributing an object of your loved one. To contribute an object, please start by filling out an intake form.

Community Workshop
2pm–4pm
Common Ground (Garland Gallery)
Join us for a collaborative workshop led by Jha D Williams of MASS Design Group to brainstorm ideas, generate solutions, and discuss our collective call-to-action for the Gun Violence Memorial Project as we look to build a permanent, national movement and memorial.
